Peace Flavour

Way to your Mission in Life

There are times when we start to move with crowd and forget our own identity. When we realize what we have done to ourselves, guilt start to take over. It seems really difficult to reconnect with our own higher self.
Getting in tune with higher self is very essential. As when we are connected with our higher self, we do what we love, we enter into the vortex and that's the time when we start to attract Abundance. When we are tuned with our higher self, life becomes more easy and fun. We stop giving thoughts to things that doesn't matter. Life start to move as you want it to be and the doors of Abundance start to open.
You can reconnect with your higher self with following ways-

1. Meditate

One of the best ways to stay tuned is to meditate. Prioritize the habit of meditation. When you go deep in silence you will get to hear the voice of your higher self.

2. Forgive All
More you forgive, more will be the harmony. Our natural state of being loves to forgive and accept all. That's the perfect way to reconnect with our higher self as there won't be anything that will be holding us back.

3. Yoga
Yoga aligns our body, mind and soul. It balances all the chakras and helps us to have a different aspect of life.

4. Think Positive

When our thoughts are aligned, we act more positively. Our actions pay a pivotal role in maintaining a balanced life. So, when we think good, act good, everything aligns with us. A point will come when this alignment will lead us to Abundance.

5.  Feel Good
As Abraham Hicks always say - to connect with your higher self, you need to align your thoughts, you need to start feeling good. Don't think when everything is good, I will feel good. Do the opposite. Start deliberately feeling good and witness the unfolding.

So, what are you waiting for? Get started and have fun.

Mahatma Gandhi was that great leader who made India independent without the use of any weapon or force. His teachings not only impacted Indians but the whole world. This pure soul taught the mankind that you can win the world without taking power in your hand.
This Mahatma redefined humanity and gave us a new way of living life. He may not be with us today but his thoughts are still alive. They are acting as a guideline for the whole world. His charming personality not only won the hearts of Indians but of the whole mankind. That's the reason why he is still alive in our hearts.
Here are some of his beautiful quotes-

1. You must be the change you wish to see in the world.

2. It is health that is real wealth not pieces of gold and silver.

3. In a gentle way, you can shake the world.

4. Those who know how to think, needs no teacher.

5.The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.

6. Satisfaction lies in the efforts not in the attainment, full effort is full victory.

7. There is a sufficiency in the world for man's need, but not for man's greed.

8. We win justice quickest by rendering justice to the other party.

9. The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of strong.

10. Intolerance is itself a form of violence and an obstacle to the growth of a true democratic spirit.

11. A man is the product of his thoughts. What he thinks he becomes.

From the day we came to earth and the day we will leave this place, Breath will be the first and last thing to have on this planet. This shows a crucial role of breathing in living beings. But with time we have forgotten the art of breathing. We have restrained ourselves with short breathing and this is why many health issues have shown a rise.

The word Pranayam has been derived from Prana- life force and Ayama- to lengthen. So, Pranayam is something which lengthens the life force. It is a simple technique of breathing which promote emotional, mental and physical well-being.

The reason behind getting diseases is blockage of Chakras. When a human do not use their lung's capacity to breath to the fullest, the body get less oxygen and thus it further create imbalances. God has sent us with all the sources, we will need while our tour on earth.

Breathing has many benefits. It balances the chakras, it prevents anxiety, depression, it cleanses, heal and strengthen our body. This is why Pranayam is practiced so that we reconnect ourselves with energy we were born with.

Bhastrika
It should always be done in the beginning of pranayam and must be followed with Kapalbhati. It should never be done full stomach and night. How to do it-
Sit in lotus pose and take a long breath, fill your lungs with air. Count till 5 and exhale. Now, practice inhaling and exhaling with force. You can practice it at least 21 times as a beginner.

Kapalbhati

This breathing practice brings your entire body into balance. Here's how to do it-
Sit comfortably with straight spine. Take a deep breath in and as you exhale, pull your stomach inside. Continue active exhalation and passive inhalation. Take 30 rapid breaths doing the same and then take a deep breath and exhale slowly. You can continue as long as you feel comfortable.

Anulom Vilom
Sit comfortably with straight spine. Now, put your right thumb to block your right nostril, inhale through your left nostril for 2 seconds. Now block both nostrils and hold your breath for 4 seconds. Keep your left nostril blocked and exhale from right nostril. Now inhale from right nostril for 2 sec and then block both nostrils for 4 sec and exhale from left nostril while blocking right nostril.
Repeat the cycle with 10 rounds.

Bhramari
It is also known as Bee Breath due to the exhalation sound produced while doing this pranayam which resembles humming sound of bee. How to do this-
Inhale while closing your ear canal with your thumbs and eyes with your fingers. Put your two fingers on closed eyes and index fingers on your forehead.
Now exhale while producing a humming sound (hmm). Do this as long as you can make this sound and then repeat the process 3 to 4 times more for effective results.

There are certain precautions that are to be taken care while doing pranayam for example, a pregnant women or b.p. patient should not hold breath longer etc. So, before you start, just figure out if you are in perfect state to follow that practice. You can also take your doctor's advise.

For a very long period of time introvert trait has been considered as something that needs to be cured. On contrary, extroversion as an ideal. In 2012 when Susan Cain's book 'Quiet' was published, it gave a new direction to the world who adored extroverts as well as insight to the introverts. There is lot of misunderstandings about the introverts which I want to clear out today.

Introverts are not Shy
It is a common myth that introverts are shy and extroverts are confident. Introverts are not shy, they just simply don't like to waste energy on topics that don't interest them. The chances can be like they love to listen more than to discuss. Research also says that even extroverts are shy but they somehow act well.

Introverts can Lead
People like Rosa Parks, Mahatma Gandhi, Albert Einstein, Tony Robbins, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Warren Buffett and many more personalities who are introverts and led the world successfully. Also, there is a study that say, introverts lead the group well as compared to extroverts as they put more focus on its people and quality of work.

Introverts love Talks
I know you are shocked to know this fact. But this is true. Introverts do love talks but only meaningful. They love to indulge in topics that interest them and thus, they go deep in talks for hours. But here is a caution, topic needs to interest them.

Introverts love to Travel

Being an introvert I can say that I love travelling. I love to explore new places. Introverts find peace when they wander. They would love to go to a place full of people but only for the sake of exploration. After a while, they will start to look for a quiet place. This does not end here as their need for exploring the world is everlasting.

Introverts can make friends easily
They say extroverts are popular and that's why they have a lot of friends. The same goes with introverts too. A study has shown that introverts make friend easily but they don't rush themselves. They take their time, observe and choose. They act very wisely while making friends. This is the reason why introverts tend to have longer relationships than extroverts who changes group often.

It has also been seen that introverts keep their group small so that they can give equal time to each relation and that's why people love them.

Introverts needs personal space

Introverts can do everything that extroverts do but the thing that makes them different is- they need SPACE. At the end of their busy day, they will crave for a quiet place where they can be themselves. They need space to charge themselves up for the next day. And when solitude does not become possible they get ill too.

Introverts know when to take stands
It has been a saying that those who cannot speak for themselves are weak. However, there's difference between “cannot speak" and "don't speak". Normally, introverts do not indulge themselves into fights. They consider arguments as wastage of time.
They know it very well when to reply and when not. But when the level of their patience reaches a limit, you better save yourself up as their next move can screw up your whole life.

Introverts are more Patient and Consistent
A study has proven that introverts are more patient and consistent while learning new skills as compared to extroverts who get excited easily and give up quickly too.

Introverts have gone through a lot of misconceptions. Now is the time that introverts need to know their power. They need to become aware that their true power lies within and with self reflection they can succeed easily. Today, the world is in need of more introverts as only introverts has got the eyes and power to see and shape the world into a more peaceful place.
